How is it related to Bluetooth?
- bluGill 9y agoAnother bluetooth device that is not used because it is annoying to use instead of useful. This isn't the fault of bluetooth, but it adds to the reputation that bluetooth devices are more hassle than they are worth. The cheap headphones he went back to don't have the annoying misfeatures that he hates.
- gdulli 9y agoI don't know if the unreliability is the fault of Bluetooth, the product, the drivers, or the OS. Or if it's inherent to wirelessness which can't ever be expected to work as well as normal headphones with any protocol because the problem is just significantly harder. Regardless, headphones have been a solved problem for a long time and I'll use what's always worked.
- emodendroket 9y agoI'll often wear headphones while doing housework or yardwork and not having the wire in your way really makes it much better.
- gdulli 9y agoThe "reliability" problems with pairing/disconnection were one set of problems, "features" were another.
