Ethereum under siege: $700K stolen in 6 days from Slack and Reddit phishing scams
- notyourwork 9y agoSame scam, different medium. Nothing to see here.
- jaclaz 9y agoAllow me to disagree. I would guess that the typical Ethereum user is not a Peoria middle-aged housewife (with all due respect for all middle-aged hosewives of course) but rather someone deeply involved in the tech scene, possibly a programmer or however an up-to-date with modern technologies "advanced" user. So the fact that a number of this "elite" can be seemingly easily scammed does represent IMHO some news.
- kronos29296 9y agoYet another phishing scam. Only targeted at ethereum users. Is it just or is such block chain wallets easier to steal from?
- futhey 9y agoPhishing is of course not a vulnerability specific to Ethereum, but there is a frenzy of demand for it.
