Couple pet peeves here:
1) This isn't the name of the article:
2) One example is Instagram, which had only 12 employees when it was sold to Facebook in 2012 for USD 1 billion.
Selling a company ≠ profits. I believe Instagram was barely making any money at the time. The sale was for it's potential.
The fact they lead with this is a red flag.
