I recently started using GraphQL and I love. The best thing about GraphQL is having a standard interface for queries (and more) and all tools that built upon it (such as Apollo). To name a few existing and upcoming (?) features from Apollo: Query batching, real-time updates (WebSockets + subscriptions), caching, optimistic UI, polling, pagination, live queries and many more. Also, GraphiQL is pretty cool, too, basically Swagger for free.
