Are there any examples of (good) non-market-produced information? The only such example I can think of is state-owned media, and I can't think of any situation where that has been or would be a good thing.

- CamperBob2 9y agoI think a lot of people would cite the BBC in answer to your point. But that sort of media outlet only works as long as the government isn't actively hostile to the interests of the majority of its citizens. Both the US and UK are arguably heading in that direction, or already there, depending on whom you ask.
