Two well known offenders here are LinkedIn and Twitter; opening a push message from either it frequently takes 10+ seconds of staring at their logo (which they use as a launch screen counter to recommendations at https://developer.apple.com/ios/human-interface-guidelines/graphics/launch-screen/ https://developer.apple.com/ios/human-interface-guidelines/g...) before I can read anything. For this type of transactional UX, slow-to-load apps are doing a poor job
