Why the OS don't prioritize UI threads on one or two cores?
- mac01021 9y agoHow does it know which threads are UI threads?
- vivekseth 9y agoI think it should at least know which thread handles mouse movement.
- usefulcat 9y agoWon't help if the problem is as the author describes (contention for a system-wide lock).
- asveikau 9y agoI think the windows scheduler might already do this, but the issue is that UI message queues take a highly contended lock.
