I built http://thejobist.com http://thejobist.com (lame tagline: A job-search search site) as I was learning web development and looking for a web development job. I built it with grand vision to expand user submissions, working voting, featured sites, relevant ads and the list goes on. However, once I found a job, I let it dwindle. It still gets a decent amount of traffic considering how little effort I have put into promoting it in the several few years. I still think that it would be possible to make it more useful and revenue positive but I seem to have a bit of ADHD when it comes to side projects.
