Ask HN: How to manage High-visibility projects

I am a new solo developer in an NGO. I am creating software to track building and construction projects. The stakeholders are DG, all DDGs and Head of the buildings department hence alot of interest by "big people". I have 6 months. Its my first time on a project of this scale. Any tips from your experiences?
