I sometimes do. I understand and agree with the authors point. On the other hand, I feel like I'm well paid in a very comfortable job for doing stuff I already liked doing. I will likely never get fired from this job and have numerous other offers without looking. From that perspective, a job in programming is "easy". I'm not missing that there are hard things and to be honest, today is a particularly difficult day, but I understand when people say it's an easy career path.
