I would take issue with misogynistic as it 99% of the time is used for a man...

  “Cuckold” is a derogatory term directed at men whose derogatory nature is itself grounded in a misogynistic worldview in which women are property and making sexual use of one belonging to another man is a sign of strength while having the one that belongs to you being made use of by another man is a sign of weakness. That it is used about a man does not mean it is not misogynistic.
