I'm Canadian citizen entered USA using normal TN (skilled worker) in August 2015. In June 2017 all my family (wife, 20 yo son and daughter) - all got green cards. Lawyers for company I working for oversaw the process and tried to apply for H1B but it was refused or something. However they used some other method and succeeded and i think we got results pretty fast. I think lawyers did amazing work. If you (or anyone) interested - will be happy to give reference.
