These commands have deprecated themselves because of many limitations that were hitting almost randomly (for example https://stackoverflow.com/questions/12677712/rsh-running-out-of-ports https://stackoverflow.com/questions/12677712/rsh-running-out...). We had to migrate all the scripts using r-cmds to ssh because of reliability issues when the number of hosts was increasing.
