It'll be interesting to see what changes occur in the human brain as we develop neural-computer interfaces. The human brain appears to be very good at performing instantaneous approximate calculations (catching or dodging a thrown ball).
Interestingly, humans don't appear to be as good at memorising sequences as monkeys (1). It'll be awesome if someday we can see the difference between how the monkey and human brain behaves while carrying out this task.
