- tptacek 9y agoRsync is implemented in terms either of rsh or ssh. It's not an r-command. It's unrelated to "sync".
- benchaney 9y agoTrue, but rsync is not the remote version of sync, so I don't think it counts.
- RJIb8RBYxzAMX9u 9y ago"r-commands" is to rsync as OpenSSL is to OpenSSH. That is, they share the same prefix, have somewhat overlapping usage cases, but are actually completely unrelated to each other.
