As Mark Twain said "There are three types of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics". An honest answer to the question of whether communicative aliens exist is "we just don't know".
- lisper 9y agoThat's true, but misleading. What matters is not whether they exist, but whether enough of them exist close enough that we could some day receive one of their communications (or other evidence of their existence). And the answer to that seems more and more likely to be "no".
