This is what antimonopoly/antitrust laws should have been used against, but in this merger and aquisition market, the people with the power to invoke them are too corrupted and regulatory captured to do it, and so the people suffer. Side note: in the past posting or talking about this was easy grounds to be dismissed as a "conspiracy theorist".
