True, hostage-taking is generally not a risk on rail (Pelham 1-2-3 aside), but HSR is just as tempting a target for terrorism. Imagine a detonation that derails an HSR from elevated rail, at speed, in an urban setting.
- Klockan 9y agoThe easiest way to derail a train is to manipulate its tracks, inspecting passengers would do nothing to prevent this.
