What's 'ontologies academically'?
- criddell 9y agoNo the OP, but it probably means he did a lot of work in semantic web stuff. https://www.w3.org/OWL/ https://www.w3.org/OWL/ https://www.w3.org/RDF/ https://www.w3.org/RDF/
- TeMPOraL 9y agoI'd shorten that to "what's 'ontologies'"? I did a class on Semantic Web, and spend a fair amount of time reading articles (and a book) about that, and I still don't have any clue what exactly do they mean by "ontology"... It's like the meaning of this word somehow escapes my mind.
- bane 9y agoMy guess would be "knowledge models".
