My home and auto insurer, Amica, is mutual company today. I'm not sure if there's a difference between a mutual company and a co-op.

My home and auto insurer, Amica, is mutual company today. I'm not sure if there's a difference between a mutual company and a co-op.
- bradleyjg 9y agoA co-op could be a mutual company (i.e. owned by its customers) or it could be owned by its employees. It's an umbrella term for both.
