I want to understand what's being posted, but I am being asked to pay for that, so in leui of having the ability to comment relevantly, I have to ask a serious off-topic question: why is it acceptable that we aggregate paywalled material here?
- snarfy 9y agoFrom the FAQ: "It's ok to post stories from sites with paywalls that have workarounds. In comments, it's ok to ask how to read an article and to help other users do so. But please don't post complaints about paywalls. Those are off topic." There is no workaround anymore for wsj, but you'll get downvoted for mentioning it. Another argument you'll here is that wsj is good, original content that simply cannot be found anywhere else and worth paying for. In this case, the article is an opinion piece.
