The CFAA is a really, really nasty law. According to some interpretations, you are breaking it any time you violate the tiny terms of use at the bottom of a website. So basically anybody could get convicted if the prosecution really wants to. Somebody got convicted for pretending to be a fictional person on myspace, but it was overturned (granted, the person was cyberbullying that resulted in a suicide, but still)
