Xbox has been profitable for some time now (over two years), not sure where you're getting your info from.
- megablast 16y agoXbox has started to make a profit, year over year, but they have still not made up for the millions they plowed into the overall project.
- cubicle67 16y agoXBox has cost MS an enormous amount of money and they haven't recouped much of it as yet. By late 2006, MS had already lost $4 billion to the XBox project 2 years later this was out to $7 billion. I think recently they've been turning a profit of about $200 million+/quarter
