That's a ridiculously subjective opinion (redundant?). There's a reason its such a beloved Christmastime piece, and I can say at least for me Hallelujah is not my favorite chorus.
- bsder 9y agoIt is quite a ridiculously subjective opinion. No doubt. :) However, I have yet to go with somebody to see a full performance of the Messiah and have them be happy. Admittedly, I have a small sample size (7 times with probably 12 people), but it's really not to the taste of most people. On the other hand, I have been to 3 organ concerts of Bach with other people and they always rave about it afterward. Shrug. Make of it what you will.
