Re-reading this a few hours later and this stands out. If western soldiers goal was to exterminate other groups of people I'll say they have failed quite spectacularily. I'm all for asking tough questions about the need ti spend ou tax money in Iraq and Afghanistan. However as I mentioned above: either they have failed spectacularly or they haven't tried to exterminate those people.
