I'm seriously impressed with how useful Insomnia has become in my workflow. It goes to show how valuable a well designed user experience can be.
It's not the only available API testing tool, but it's by far the most productive tool to use in my opinion.

- kossae 9y agoIf you've tried Postman (https://www.getpostman.com/ https://www.getpostman.com/), how would you say Insomnia is better?
- nbrempel 9y agoThe differences are subtle but I would boil it down to attention to detail. The user experience is excellent.
- kermire 9y agoI agree. The UI is so much better and more streamlined. I was also using Postman before I found this. It's really useful.
- lstamour 9y agoInsomnia’s open source. You’d be surprised at how much of a difference this can make, if you’re a developer :)
- Belphemur 9y agoInsomnia is great for single user. But for teams, synchronizing their different request. It was a mess with insomnia couple of versions ago. But the product improves really fast and I won't be surprised in couple of month it will have reproduced most of the strength of Postman. For now, I'll still stick to postman.
