So, I specifically cited finance in my original comment, and yet you come with "yeah but finance..." as if that's somehow revelatory. Moreover I wasn't asking about job opportunities per se - like you so astutely pointed out I can just search for those. I was more interested in what could I personally use C++ for that didn't involve joining a large dev team working on some unspecified codebase.
