The admin in charge of the order was indignant; the rest of us simply grabbed coats as fast as we could and escaped. I don't think it actually got heated, but it was a bad mood in the room, and everyone was in the usual state of Uber panic that nobody wanted to deal with it. I wasn't privy to the full conversation, because I do believe she escalated, had an e-mail conversation or two about it, generally made a stink (as well she should have). But I will put my professional reputation on the line: That happened. I have no reason to doubt, being in the same org at the same time, that the rest did not.
