Tbf, AWS can't do that inter-region well either which is effectively what we are talking about. They rely on DNS-based solutions and so do many CDNs.

- toomuchtodo 9y agoEveryone does DNS load balancing unless you're ready to do BGP and announce/withdraw your net blocks based on health. Anycast is nice, but niche.
