well i can tell this is turning into the bad kind of internet commenting. you are calling me insecure- thats a personal attack. is it wrong to call someone a snob for being snobby?
- reitanqild 9y agois it wrong to call someone a snob for being snobby? I'm not a snob. I grew up on a small farm. I can milk the cows and have moved a few tons of grass by hand because the barn was to small for machinery. I still strongly dislike javascript. Maybe you could respect our right to hate or at least strongly dislike a language that 1. Is being forced upon us as the coolest thing since I don't know what 2. has quite complicated and IMO dumb ideas about equality like 2.1. http://dorey.github.io/JavaScript-Equality-Table/ http://dorey.github.io/JavaScript-Equality-Table/ 2.2. https://stackoverflow.com/a/359509 https://stackoverflow.com/a/359509 3. Feels like it changes major parts of one of the build systems every second week ?
- the_cat_kittles 9y agook i dont think snob has anything to do with upbringing, but yes- i dont really care for the tons of articles about new dumb frameworks etc, that would only be more annoying if i didnt use js. you are also allowed hate js. just kind of weird to parade around the internet proudly proclaiming it (not you, op)
- jamiek88 9y agoThe difference is the others are hating on a technology, not a person. You are insulting a person. He didn't insult javascript developers or people who like it he simply said he doesn't like it, which for some reason got you personally insulted. Hate is a word used in the modern world pejoratively to mean strongly dislike especially I've noticed those with English as a second language.
