From experience of both Sweden and the US, levels of automation are an order of magnitude higher here in Sweden. Then again, taxi drivers, cleaners, and waitresses earn a living wage here and are respected members of society.
- euyyn 9y agoYeah, that's kind of his point, I understood: If you have to pay humane wages, you have a stronger incentive to invest in automation.
- louithethrid 9y agoIt also kills the human-robot job, where basically a normal human is taken and his brain is replaced for 8 hours with a mobile app, running a task.
