My own experience working with Postgres, discovering nifty features or trying out new ones, and articles like this make it clear for me that I'm unlikely to ever need anything else. By the time any of the applications I work on could grow to the size in which Postgres wouldn't be a good option, I'd hopefully be in the process of selling it anyway. I'm quite ok with that. It's such an awesome piece of software.
