If your plan for ensuring the continued wealth and competitiveness of your country and population relies on other countries not to develop, than possibly it's not a great plan.

- frgtpsswrdlame 9y agoMy plan relies on politicians in the USA/UK considering the wellbeing of the workers in their country a priority over the wellbeing of workers in other countries and a priority over a small group of elite capital-holders. It's failing because they don't but that's a pretty sad statement about where we find ourselves politically.
- PatentTroll 9y agoNot to mention a new population of knowledge workers will produce their own demand, so it's not a zero sum game by any means.
