APL comes to my mind.
- icen 9y agoAs in, it is still 20 years ahead of its time, or was it's moment somewhere in the 80s?
- romanovcode 9y ago20 years ago they redesigned already built products to make them more consumer friendly (nothing wrong with that, pretty cool). Now it's mostly lagging behind and making their products less consumer friendly.
- TurboHaskal 9y agoWoah dude I meant the programming language.
- TurboHaskal 9y agoThat it was ahead of its time when it came out (1964).
- zshrdlu 9y agoHad some considerable influence on the development of Lisp, too.
