I get what you're saying and agree it would be nice, but so long as we're wishing for stuff, I wish we could all, even those of us who are less successful, be able to declare our failures without it affecting our future job prospects. I'm entirely unremarkable, but looking back I would say most of my biggest personal and professional developments have been built upon some sort of failure or mistake.
