JOSM, an editor for OpenStreetMap, installs its own certificate, which is limited to https://localhost:8112 https://localhost:8112. This seems pretty safe to me - if someone can MITM that, you already have bigger problems.
- ryanlol 9y agoPresumably that certificate isn't actually signed by any relevant CA, right? If so it seems rather irrelevant in the context.
