You're seeing these posts for two reasons:
1) Posterous was funded by YC
2) People know that if you write and/or post something about a YC funded company on HN you will likely get visits/karma
It doesn't go much deeper than that.
Edit: One way to tell this is true is to look at "similar" communities on the Web. Reddit, for instance, has no recent submissions in technology or programming about Posterous (and they'll discuss just about anything). In case you think I'm against Posterous, I think it's a good service. I just know a pattern when I see one.
