It is because I'm a Brazilian and from here what I see is that both are right wing media companies working hard to keep their riches richer. Also, the major Brazilian media company has born from the same group as CNN.
- umanwizard 9y agoCNN is basically the unofficial Democratic Party mouthpiece. The Democratic Party isn't traditionally "left-wing", but it certainly seems wrong to call them "right-wing".
- owebmaster 9y agoYeah, and here in Brazil, the right-wing is the unofficial US Democratic Party vassal, starting by Globo (CNN-affiliated). Here "liberals" are not considered left-wing but right. Sanders and a few would be considered somehow left wing here, but not that much.
- jacquesm 9y agoThis is in line with much of the rest of the globe, the USA does not really have a functional left wing, just two right wing parties one of which is - slightly - to the left of the other.
