The original rolls are lost?
- WorldMaker 9y agoThe implications are Warner Brothers archives lost nearly everything. B5 was ahead of its time in anticipating HD (compare the shot composition of B5 versus DS9, for example) and shot everything for HD and figured with the digital files for the CGI backed up they could easily re-animate for HD. Somehow Warner Brothers seemed to lose all the original film masters and all of the digital files for the CGI in just the two or three years for HD to actually arrive to televisions. B5 was supposed to be one of the first shows to air/re-air in HD, and that will certainly never happen now.
