It is so easy and fun to write web apps in C. Just remember to test them with tsan/asan/valgrind and run through 2-4 static analyzers + check with couple of fuzzers too!
Well I think I'll pass this one and hopefully don't need to maintain such apps in the future.
- nickpsecurity 9y agoPlus Frama-C, model-checkers, concurrency analyzer, CompCert in Coq, Simpl in HOL, symbolic execution in KLEE, path-based testing, and property-based... then it might be good to go. On a capability-secure processor running in a VM in case new classes of attack against C code are discovered Again. ;)
