- throwaway7645 9y agoI recognize a lot of them from DS9, but I'm not sure if they all came from the show. I really enjoyed how the Ferengi were portrayed in DS9 making pilgrimages to WallStreet...kinda funny.
- moomin 9y agoFunnily enough, I was just watching DS9 S01E10 on Netflix. "What's the first rule of acquisition?"... it checks out.
- hannob 9y agoI think the series never mentioned all of the rules. Memory Alpha (already linked above) is strict in adhering to canon and has a list of rules that appeared in the series: http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Rules_of_Acquisition http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Rules_of_Acquisition Guess the rest is made up or from non-canon publications.
- jkaunisv1 9y agoThe full list was never mentioned in the show, but I believe one of the writers (Ira Behr?) subsequently published a full list as a separate book. So probably not official canon but about as close as it gets.
