Ask HN: Should I open-source my side-project website?

I'm actively working on my side-project Booknshelf (https://booknshelf.com) which is a website to discover books, organize them in online shelves and do more. I've been thinking for a while to open-source it but not entirely sure if it's a good idea for my case. What will the benefits be? Can it be valuable at all to the open-source community? I know it's not common to open-source the codebase of a website. I need your help! Thank you.
