I agree that Celery is too much complex, but this solution is overly simple. If your worker process fails after the BRPOP and before running the task, then the task is lost.
- omegote 9y agoYou're right. This is just a proof of concept to discover the basics of task queues. You know, it's good to reinvent the wheel to know how it works. It's not meant to be used in production environments ootb.
