- TeMPOraL 9y agoI don't get it either. You've raised a pretty important point I completely forgotten about. Blaming the problems of your country on foreigners is the tried and true method of controlling people. It happened in the past, and it happens today - as both Europeans ("it's the islamic immigrants!") and Americans ("it's the Mexicans!") should be able to testify. When shit hits the fan I'm convinced politicians will try to blame immigrants, just to distract the native citizens from blaming the government (or each other). What happens then we all know from history lessons.
