About the debt, why not just all default at once and start over at zero.
Then we could concentrate on starting to repair the damage we've done to the environment.
It's not like it's a law of the universe that these man made tokens have to be paid back with sweat and tears.
- TeMPOraL 9y agoUnfortunately, it's the law of the universe (partially by virtue of our hardware, partially thanks to mathematics) that humans are damn hard to coordinate at scale. It's very hard for large groups to reach any kind of consensus - hence the governments and the economy. They can't be controlled directly, and distruption to either of them is always measured in blood.
