The one App Academy graduate I know is an algorithms savant who went in with a significant knowledge base and managed to get his App Academy experience credited towards his CS undergraduate degree. I'm led to believe that a/A is just very selective and not necessarily like what people usually think of when they think of coding bootcamp cohorts.
