I wondered about that too. A few years ago I mentioned how much my son loved the Beatles song "Hello, Hello" as proof of how well that music aged. He was like, yeah, it's in that Target commercial. Made me rethink things a bit. That said I guess it's in the commercial because it aged so well. But I do agree that the internet has effectively quite reduced, if not eliminated, the "generation gap" my parents and my peers grew up with in the 60's to the 80's...
