- nraynaud 9y agoJust pain-killer or nothing if the pain is low enough. It looks like it is a source of pain-killer overuse, and psychiatric issues. In my case the pain responds very well, so I just treat it with paracetamol, but I have used just 8 doses in 3 weeks. To put it in context, tho, it is an extremely rare kind of stroke (5/1,000,000 per year), so the select people having had this stroke might have pain medicine issues, but it is not a contributor of anything in the grand scheme of things.
