I think this is just an honest mistake as a result of bad English rather than a reflection of his attitude towards women.
- val314159 9y agoI could totally see that. However, too many "misspeaks" like this could come across as telegraphing your true feelings. Sometimes how people say things is even more important than WHAT they say. (other case in point: "Decent" is a highly charged, loaded VALUE JUDGEMENT. I wonder if the Op is "decent"?)
