It is strange that the IDEs are not free.
- mcantelon 16y agoIt says they are free: >two free IDEs; Code Composer Studio 4 and IAR Embedded Workbench Kickstart Kickstart is Windows-only and Code Composer seems to be an Eclipse plugin (so cross-platform, but not lightweight like Arduino's minimalist IDE).

- phsr 16y agoThe IDE's have a size limited version, both of which have a limit larger than the chips that ship with the launchpad
